Page 11: “The proposed amendment would require a newly elected Representative to provide the House with a list of at least five designees to take their place in the House if they die prior to the expiration of their term of office. Under the amendment, in the event of the death of a Representative, the state governor shall select an individual from the deceased Representative’s list not later than 10 days after the Representative’s death, and that individual would serve until another Representative is elected by special election.
