In a shocking revelation, the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) has brought to light disturbing information about a chemical substance called “Organipeel,” manufactured by Apeel. This substance, marketed as a protective coating for organic produce, has been hiding in plain sight.
The Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) initially granted Apeel’s Organipeel approval, apparently based on its active ingredient, citric acid. However, it has come to light that Organipeel contains a mere 0.66 percent citric acid, leaving the composition of the remaining 99.44 percent shrouded in mystery.
Interestingly, the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Microsoft’s billionaire eugenicist, Bill Gates, have thrown their support behind Organipeel. These influential entities played a significant role in persuading the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to approve the use of Organipeel on organic produce, despite its questionable organic status.
The OCA has reported that while citric acid is technically non-organic, it is permitted in organic foods as long as it is not synthetically derived. However, the exact ingredients of the Organipeel formula, apart from citric acid, remain undisclosed.
Furthermore, Organipeel, also known as Edipeel, is found to contain components derived using toxic solvents, which could result in residues of mercury, cadmium, and other harmful substances on food. A submission made by Apeel Sciences to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) revealed that monoacylglycerides extracted from grape seed serve as the primary ingredient in Organipeel. However, Apeel’s extraction methods involve the use of multiple toxic solvents, potentially leaving behind traces of hazardous elements such as mercury, cadmium, lead, arsenic, palladium, heptane, and ethyl acetate in the final product.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) conducted a review of monoacylglycerides, labeled as E 471 in Europe, on November 8, 2021. This review concluded that the consumption of E 471 could potentially lead to substantial exposure to toxic elements.
In previous studies, the EFSA had already identified the presence of glycidol, a carcinogen, in monoacylglycerides. Additionally, as far back as 2000, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified glycidol as “probably carcinogenic to humans.”
Despite these alarming findings, the WEF, Gates, and other globalist entities continue to insist that monoacylglycerides, the primary ingredient in Organipeel and Edipeel, are safe for consumption, despite their association with the cancer-causing carcinogen, glycidol, and the lingering presence of toxic metals on food.
Notably, monoacylglycerides have also been linked to diabetes. Evidence presented in the 2012 issue of Diabetes Care establishes a connection between these environmental compounds and the prevalent and chronic problem of insulin resistance and associated diabetes, which has become a modern-day plague.
Apeel, valued at $2 billion in 2021, owes its success to the government’s approval of its dubious Organipeel and Edipeel food preservative coatings. These coatings, potentially hiding in your organic fruits and vegetables, have been made possible by the support of the WEF and Gates.
Apeel CEO Dr. James Rogers, a WEF Young Global Leader, had previously mentioned in 2018 that the company would transition to using “synbio” to produce Organipeel and Edipeel, rather than extracting the active ingredient from agricultural byproducts like leftover grape seeds from winemaking.
