Did anyone ask Him?

Of all the issues dividing us as people, the question of abortion is perhaps the most important.
Who is to say which is right or wrong?
Actually, there is an absolute standard of truth—of right and wrong. Many are unaware of it—or outright reject it!
As we debate the questions of abortion, it is important to know God’s viewpoint. The Almighty God, Creator of heaven and earth loves us and has told us in the Bible how we should live—for our good and for the benefit of others. The Bible speaks much about God’s hatred of the shedding of innocent blood.
”These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood…” Proverbs 6:16,17
Can we expect to receive God’s blessings on our country while we do what He hates? While we continue to shed innocent blood at increasing rates—and profit from it? Rather, we incur God’s wrath.
Will God not judge our Nation as He did nations in history for sacrificing their little ones to idols?
“Yea, they … shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood…therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against His people” Psalm 106:37,38, 40
We have many excuses and try to justify ourselves. The fact is, unless we seek God’s ways and live as He intended, we will reap the consequences of our turning aside to our own ways—individually, and as a Nation.
Getting away with murder
Of all the issues dividing us as people after the recent reversal of Roe v. Wade, abortion is perhaps the most volatile—lawsuits, threats, protests, riots, destructive actions….
It’s my opinion vs your opinion.
Who is to say which is right or wrong?

Actually, there is an absolute standard of truth—of right and wrong—defined by God, not by man. Many are unaware of it; others outright reject it!
These days it appears people “can get away with murder”—at least in our judicial system, but NOT in God’s Court of law.
As differing viewpoints on abortion are hotly debated, it is important to know God’s viewpoint.
